Shah Rukh Khan wins 2023 TIME100 Reader Poll, beats Lionel Messi and Elon Musk

Shah Rukh Khan is on a winning spree as the year 2023 is proving to be a lucky year for the actor. His recent release Pathaan is breaking box office records ever since its release. The Badshah’s IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Royal Challengers Banglore in the IPL 2023. Now we have King Khan leading the TIME100 Reader Poll.

King Khan has defeated Lionel Messi, Serena Williams, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and others in the magazine’s annual TIME100 readers’ poll.

Shah Rukh Khan bags 2023 TIME100 Reader Poll

The Badshah has bagged the top position in Time Magazine’s poll for its annual TIME100 list. He has bagged the first position in the prestigious list. Readers voted for the individuals/groups that they think are deserving of a spot on the magazine’s annual list. Reportedly 1.2 million votes were cast, and 4 per cent of them went to Shah Rukh.

The magazine has shared a statement informing that Shah Rukh had won the poll. He has garnered 4% of the total vote (around 50,000 votes in all)

The second place went to  Iranian women protesting for greater freedoms from the country’s Islamic regime. The third and fourth place went to Britain’s Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle. Lionel Messi bagged a fifth place in the annual list.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Pathaan. The movie also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles. It has been breaking box office records ever since its release.

He will next be seen in Atlee’s Jawan with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. SRK also has Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki with Taapsee Pannu. Also YRF’s Tiger vs Pathaan with Salman Khan. The movie will reportedly be directed by Siddharth Anand.
