Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Don’ completes nine years

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan‘s hit flick Don completes nine years. The film was a remake of the megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s iconic film of the same name. Don had Shah Rukh Khan cast in a double role, one of an underworld kingpin, the other of a commoner.

The movie also had Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani, Om Puri and Arjun Rampal in pivotal roles. Don was directed by Farhan Akhtar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani. It went on to be major grosser of 2006.

Shah Rukh Khan fans have been tranding the hashtag #9YearsOfDon trend on Twitter. The Don frannchise was a major hit and talks are on between the producer and the superstar for the third part of the series.
