We all know how Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan were all set to battle it out at the box office on January 26, next year, with their respective films, ‘Raees’ and ‘Kaabil’. But here is a good news for their fans. The clash might get averted.
And the reason for the same might be Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’s (MNS) decision to ban Pakistani artists in India. According to a leading daily, Shah Rukh Khan and the makers of his next are now planning to change the release date because of Pakistani actress, Mahira Khan’s role in the film. An insider reveals, “SRK’s film is introducing Mahira. After the MNS asked all Pakistani artists to return to their country in the wake of the Uri terror attacks, the makers are now worried that this development can severely affect the business of the film.”
He further adds, “Because of the MNS order, the makers want to push the release date to avoid double losses. Also, they can’t afford to have the movie boycotted at the last moment due to the current tension between India and Pakistan. If this happens, it will be a big win for Hrithik. Both ‘Dilwale’ and ‘Fan’ didn’t fare well at the box office. So SRK will avoid taking a risk like that.”
Meanwhile ‘Kaabil’ is set to release on January 26.
