After Shah Rukh in ‘Zero’, now Riteish Deshmukh to play a vertically challenged man in ‘Marjaavaan’

Director Milap Zaveri’s upcoming film ‘Marjaavaan’ is going to be a complete action-packed romance drama. The film stars the handsome hunk Sidharth Malhotra and the newbie actress Tara Sutaria. ‘Marjaavaan’ also features Riteish Deshmukh. Interestingly, Riteish will be seen playing a villainous character in this action-thriller.

Ritiesh had played a negative character in ‘Ek Villain’ and the film’s dialogue was written by Zaveri. Now you all will be surprised to know that Riteish will be playing a vertically challenged man in ‘Marjaavaan’. Confirming the news about Riteish playing a three-and-half-feet character in ‘Marjaavaan’, Milap told Mumbai Mirror, “I decided to raise the bar by scaling him down in size. Even though he is a dwarf, his character is larger than life. “

The director went on to share that Deshmukh’s character will be extremely wicked with some great punch lines. The film’s team has done extensive research in VFX. Commenting about the inevitable comparison between Shah Rukh Khan’s Bauua Singh and Riteish’s character in ‘Marjaavaan’, Milap said that both the characters are extremely difficult since Bauua is a fun-loving person while Riteish will be playing a full-on negative role.

Just a few days back, Sidharth had shared his first look from ‘Marjaavaan’ as the film went on floors.

By the looks of it, ‘Marjaavaan’ seems to be very intriguing and interesting. Also, it will be great watching Sidharth and Riteish in a face off once again on the silver screen.
