Shahid Kapoor congratulates Priyanka Chopra on her engagement with Nick Jonas

Since today morning, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been dominating all the social media platforms. From the pictures of their roka ceremony to the couple finally making it official to the world with their posts on social media, Nickyanka, as they are fondly referred to on social media, have set the internet on fire!

Immediately after PeeCee and Nick shared their picture, congratulatory messages started pouring in from their fans, celebrities and their well wishers. Like all the other, Shahid Kapoor also congratulated Priyanka on her engagement with Nick.

During an interaction with the media while promoting his upcoming film ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’, Shahid said, “Many, many congratulations. Marriage is a beautiful thing; I can say that from experience and I wish her all the best.”

Now that the man with experience has spoken, we are sure marriage will be a beautiful thing.

For those who don’t know, PeeCee and Shahid have worked together in movies like ‘Kaminey’, ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ and ’36 China Town’ in which Priyanka had a cameo. There were rumours about Shahid and Priyanka dating though neither of them had confirmed their relation. As per reports, the two of them dated for a couple of years and later parted ways on a bitter note.
