Shahid Kapoor has not walked out of Imtiaz’s next- read statement inside

Today morning, we had told you that Shahid Kapoor has walked out of Imtiaz Ali’s next but now his spokesperson has released a statement regarding the same.

The statement read, “There have been several rumours about the casting of Imtiaz’s next film. Imtiaz has many stories in his mind and is yet to finalize the one that he wants to make next. So at this point, there is no question of finding a cast for it. We’d like to categorically state that no actor has been finalised for his next film as yet.”

The statement further read, “We request you to wait for the official announcement which will be made as an when we are ready.”

So, this means there are chances of us seeing Shahid Kapoor in Imtiaz’s next.

Meanwhile, talking about his other projects, he will soon be seen with Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam in ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ which is set to hit theaters on 21st September. Apart from this project, the actor will be seen in the Hindi remake of ‘Arjun Reddy’ which will hit the theaters on 21st June 2019.

Directed by Sandeep Vanga, the film will go on floors this August. The leading lady of the film is yet to be finalised, and we surely can’t wait to know who will be cast opposite Shahid in this one! ‘Arjun Reddy’ is about a medical student falling in love with his junior at first sight and how their relationship progresses. The film starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in the lead roles.
