Is Shahid Kapoor getting approval from dad Pankaj Kapur for plans on his new home?

Superstar Shahid Kapoor is quite close to his father Pankaj Kapur and takes suggestions from him on many matters. Recently, the ‘Haider’ actor took to his social media handle and shared a picture of himself with his father. The two are seen wearing hard hats and are standing in a building that is under construction.

In the picture, the ‘Udta Punjab’ actor is seen discussing the interiors of his Rs 56 crore home that he has bought. The ‘Jab We Met’ star had revealed in an interview that he has purchased the house in Central Mumbai and that it’d take him one-and-a-half or two years to move in before they complete the interiors.

As reported by DNA, Shahid Kapoor has purchased a duplex in upscale Worli, Mumbai for Rs 55.60 crore. The sprawling new apartment is located on the 42nd and 43rd floors of Tower B of Three Sixty West. The building also has apartments owned by Bollywood celebs like Akshay Kumar-Twinkle Khanna and Abhishek Bachchan-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The ‘Kabir Singh’ actor had paid Rs 2.91 crore as stamp duty to the government, for its registration.

On the work front, Shahid Kapoor who had garnered much appreciation for his role in period drama ‘Padmaavat’ is now busy with his next. He will be seen in ‘Kabir Singh’ that is a remake of a hit Telegu film ‘Arjun Reddy’. Shahid will be romancing actress Kiara Advani in the movie.
