Shahid Kapoor gushes over ‘queen of my heart’ wife Mira Rajput on her birthday

Shahid Kapoor is the perfect husband material to wife Mira Rajput and he proves that time and again. He doesn’t shy away from expressing how head over heels he is in love with her. Even after 8 years of marriage, the duo dishes out couple goals quite often. And Shahid did it yet again as he wished his wife on her birthday.

Shahid took to his Instagram to share a couple of loved up pics with Mira. The way he looks at her and plants a sweet kiss on her cheek, just show his love for Mira. The couple looks super adorable together and truly a match made in heaven. While the pics are such lovable, Shahid’s caption for Mira is just him pure simping over his wife. Calling Mira the ‘queen of my heart’, he wrote, “Mira the queen of my heart. Happy birthday to you and oh so lucky me to have you all for me always and forever.”

Shahid-Mira love story

Contrary to what many might think, Shahid and Mira had an arranged marriage. The two met through common family ties. There was an instant connection and Shahid tied the knot with Mira in a private wedding on July 7, 2015. The couple had their first kid, daughter Misha in 2016 while their second kid, son Zain was born in 2018.

Shahid Kapoor upcoming films

On the work front, Shahid was seen in the Ali Abbas Zafar actioner Bloody Daddy earlier this year. Up next, he has a December release with the romantic film co-starring Kriti Sanon. While the film’s title hasn’t been revealed yet, its first look has surely created quite an intrigue. Apart from that, Shahid was to do a double role comedy with Anees Bazmee but the two had a reported creative fallout.
