Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer rom-com gets a new release date for Valentine’s Day 2024 – Report

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon are two of the most loved actors in Bollywood. The two are all set to share the screen for the first time in a rom-com. The upcoming film has not been titled yet but has left the netizens intrigued to witness the new on-screen pair. Shahid and Kriti starrer film was looking for a release in December this year. But now, the upcoming rom-com has been postponed and has a new release date.

Dinesh Vijan is producing the film under Maddock Studios. According to Pinkvilla, the Shahid-Kriti starrer will release next year on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. The film will release on the big screens in February, 2024. As per the portal, the film’s release sits best with the movie’s plot and will appeal to the youth. The Shahid-Kriti starrer promises to be an impossible love story. The film eyed a release date of 7th December, 2023.

Moreover, it also added that the film will be high on strong music including peppy dance numbers and romantic number. The upcoming film is a distinct concept as Shahid’s role will be of a scientist who falls in love with a robot, which is his own creation. Kriti Sanon essays the role of a robot in the film.

The upcoming film is written and directed by Amit Joshi & Aradhana Sah. Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar are producing the film.

Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Farzi and Bloody Daddy. Apparently, Shahid will be seen in Siddharth Roy Kapur’s action entertainer. According to India Today, Shahid will begin shooting for the film this month. Currently, the film is untitled, but it is high on action.

Kriti Sanon is on a roll as she has some interesting projects on her way. Kriti Sanon gears for Ganapath: A Hero Is Born alongside Tiger Shroff. Directed by Vikas Bahl, Ganapath releases theatrically on 20th October, 2023. Apart from this, Kriti Sanon is also gearing for Do Patti alongside Kajol. Do Patti will witness a Netflix release and Kriti Sanon’s is co-producing the craft.
