Shahid Kapoor-Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya witnesses 60% jump on Saturday; Beats RRKPK, Satyaprem ki katha

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya starring Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor has brought a new romantic comedy this year. The movie is about a man falling in love with a robot and people are tripping over this new unusual concept. As the movie has been released, people have already given a thumbs up as it earned Rs 14.04 crore on day 1 at the worldwide box office. Well, this is indeed a commendable feat for a genre like a time. But here comes the best. TBMAUJ witnessed a growth of over 60 % on Saturday and this only means the Day 2 collections will be terrific.

Moreover, TBMAUJ has also beaten Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer Satyaprem Ki Katha. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Tu Jhooti Main Makaar and Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. All these romantic comedies have fared between 15 – 40% while TBMAUJ has a whopping growth of 60%.

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer is the only film in this genre that has seen such a huge jump in recent times. Also, it shows an excellent trend in ticket sales which will give a boost to the Maddock Film in the coming days.
