Shahid Kapoor: Mira is an amazing cook, while I can only make tea and parathas

Actor Shahid Kapoor tied the knot with Mira Rajput on July 7, 2015. The two lovebirds are also proud parents to a beautiful daughter named Misha. Ever since he got married, Sasha has always stated that he has changed and matured as a person due to the presence of Mira in his life.

So, on a recent talk show Vogue BFFs, Sasha was present with his BFF, Kunal Rawal. The host of the show Kamal Sidhu asked a very interesting question which made the actor laugh. He asked Sasha who was a better cook between him and his wife.

Here’s what Shahid replied, “I’m not a good cook! I can make tea, I can make parathas! My wife is an amazing cook! She is awesome. I used to have jail food in my house earlier, I used to only have diet food which was really not tasty, no oil, no salt and no taste! Nobody ever used to like to eat when they used to come home. They’d always probably just eat before getting home, or run to a café right after or carry their own food! Nobody ever liked to eat at my place.”

Now, that’s a sweet confession by the doting husband, right? Well, on the work front, Shahid will next be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’ that also features Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut, releasing on February 24 next year. Besides, he will also be seen as Raja Rawal Ratan Singh in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama ‘Padmavati’ that also stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The movie is scheduled to release on November 17, 2017.
