Shahid Kapoor: I wasn’t even invited to Kareena Kapoor’s wedding

Shahid Kapoor has been very diplomatic about his relationships over the course of his career. However, there are a couple of relationships which he was quite open about. One was with Kareena Kapoor and the other with Priyanka Chopra. While all of them have moved on in life now and are well settled with their respective partners, the past can never be forgotten. The same happened during Neha Dhupia’s chat show.

Shahid was asked about his exes and as per a report on Pinkvilla, he was quite candid about the same. We all know that Priyanka and he share a nice camaraderie even now, and that’s the reason why he was invited and he attended the wedding party of Nick Jonas-Priyanka Chopra. But what about Kareena Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan’s wedding party? Well, Shahid feels he wasn’t invited to the same at all.

“About Kareena, I don’t remember, it was a while ago. I don’t think I was invited,” said Shahid while in conversation with Neha Dhupia.

Kareena and Shahid had dated for a really long time. They had quite an ugly split and the two decided not to work together again. However, when the right movie came forth (‘Udta Punjab’), they did decide to come together. However, they didn’t share screen space. But at the promotions of the movie, Shahid and Kareena came on stage together and also took questions from the media about getting to work together again.

Shahid and Kareena haven’t necessarily been very cordial towards each other in the past and have refrained from talking about each other publicly. It seems that the two have matured and moved on now. Shahid, talking about Kareena, surely speaks volumes of the same. Also, Shahid has been working quite often with Kareena’s hubby dearest Saif Ali Khan. After starring together in ‘Rangoon’, the two even hosted a couple of stage shows together. It showed their comic timing brilliantly.
