Shahid Kapoor’s response on ‘Kabir Singh’ clashing with Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Mental Hai Kya’ will leave you stumped

Bollywood, as an industry, has become very competitive and your future depends upon every Friday. Invariably, in a year, you only have 52 Fridays and some films will clash with each other. Now, Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Kabir Singh’ will be clashing with Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Mental Hai Kya’ at the box-office. Yes, that is right! Both films are getting released on the same date i.e. June 21, 2019.

Now, according to news agency IANS, Shahid was quite relaxed and not worried about clashing with Kangana Ranaut’s project. Shahid talked about the issue very forthrightly and said, “If the film is not good, even if it has a solo release, it doesn’t do well. Since last one year, we have seen that happening with so many films. We had already said that we are coming on that date so, the ball was always in other film’s court but I wish all the best to them.”

Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Kabir Singh’ is the official remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Arjun Reddy’. This remake also stars Kiara Advani and the teaser has already generated tremendous buzz.

On the other hand, ‘Mental Hai Kya’ is a quirky story and it has already been part of controversies.
