Shahid Kapoor refrains from getting intimate with Deepika Padukone in ‘Padmavati’?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, ‘Padmavati‘, is going to be a visual delight with superstars like Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor playing the lead. Deepika would essay the role of Queen Padmavati while Shahid would play her husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh in the film. But unfortunately, this on-screen husband and wife will share no intimate scenes in the film, as per the earlier plan. Apparently, post marriage, Shahid is not quite comfortable getting close to any actress in a film.

A source reveals, “Though they play husband and wife they won’t have any love making scenes in the film, let alone a kiss. Shahid who is newly married wasn’t comfortable with the intimate scenes as he didn’t know how Mira will react. He and Bhansali had a chat and decided to do away with some really steamy scenes that were planned.”

Though, this makes us a little sad, we are sure that ‘Padmavati’ would be a masterpiece even without an intimate scene between Shahid and Deepika.

The film releases in the month of November next year.
