Shahid, who is known for his sense of humour, joked, “Marriage makes a man realise how many mistakes he has made and how many things he needs to change about himself.” When asked about the mistakes he has made, Shahid said, “Everyday I am making.”
When asked about the changes, Shahid responded saying, “Always say yes to your wife. Pehle mein kabhi kabhi naa bhi bol deta tha (Earlier at times I used to say no). After 8 years of struggle, I’ve realised that don’t try and fight the battle you can’t win. A wife is always right (laughs).”

He continued, “The other thing I’ve learned is that my point of view is not always the right point of view. I think a lot of successful men have a problem with that. They think that mostly they’re always right, but that’s not true.” Adding to that, Shahid said that wife Mira has a ‘very strong point of view’.
The Bloody Daddy actor went on to add, “We have learned to look at each others point of view and learned to even agree to disagree and know that always one point of view is the correct point of view. There could be various point of views which all are relevant in their own ways. And when you have a life partner who is like that with you, it keeps you in a healthy space.” Well, this speaks volumes about the bond that Shahid and wife Mira share with each other.
Mira is not from a filmy background. However, she is a star in her own right.
On the other hand, Shahid and Mira are doting parents to their two kids – daughter Misha and son Zain. While the first child, daughter Misha was born in 2016, son Zain was born in 2018. So when asked who is the ‘good cop’ and the ‘bad cop’ with the kids, Shahid responded saying, “I’m the good cop most of the times.”
Furthermore, Shahid also opened up the paparazzi culture and his upcoming release Bloody Daddy.
