Shahid Kapoor shies from applying mehendi

Bollywood’s chocolate boy Shahid Kapoor is tying the knot with Mira Rajput in a very private ceremony on June 7th. The other pre marriage rituals have already been done. The Kapoor and the Rajput family had a blast at the sangeet and the Mehendi ceremony that was held on July 6th in Gurgaon.

At the Mehendi Ceremony that took place at Mira’s Chattrapur farm had the bride getting her hands and feet embellished with intricate patterns, but the groom Shahid Kapoor shied from applying the Shagun ki Mehendi on his hands.

Sources revealed that, “She (Mira) is so sober and simple and so are her choices. She is so delicate, so we decided to put a very intricate mehendi design on her soft hands. Shahid Kapoor’s initials too are drawn on Mira’s hands as
without that (drawing Shahid’s initials) no Dulhan mehendi is complete. It is a Shagun and is symbolic of love and dedication towards one’s partner, but Sasha wasn’t game for sporting henna-hands and shied away.”

But at the Sangeet ceremony Shahid Kapoor was spotted dancing away with his bride to be Mira Rajput.
