Shahid Kapoor’s sister Sanah Kapur is all set to tie the knot with Mayank Pahwa and Seema Pahwa’s son Mayank. Sanah is Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak’s daughter. She had made her Bollywood debut with Shaandaar, starring Shahid as the main lead. The wedding festivities of Shahid Kapoor’s half-sister Sanah Kapur began on Tuesday. The news was confirmed by Shahid Kapoor’s father Pankaj Kapur.

As reported by sources to Pinkvilla, “The wedding of Shahid Kapoor sister is happening in Mahabaleshwar and the family has already reached the venue. While the mehendi and sangeet functions are happening today, the wedding is scheduled for tomorrow. It’s an intimate ceremony, which they have been planning for a while.”

Naseeruddin Shah’s son Vivaan Shah took to his Instagram handle to give us a glimpse of the celebrations. Alongside visuals of the to-be bride and groom holding hands and enjoying dhol beats, Vivaan wrote, “Congratulationssss @sanahkapur15 @mayankpahwa_13 love you’ll Baa would have been soooop proud Sanuuu.”

The bride-to-be was seen dressed in a beautiful pink lehenga with a golden crop shrug on top. The groom opted for a brown semi-formal attire for the special day. In other videos, the Shaandaar actress was seen grooving on traditional songs with Ratna Pathak Shah and Supriya Pathak.

The Pahwas and Kapurs have been family friends for several years. It is reported that Sanah and Mayank had gotten engaged months ago. The couple will tie the knot today(March 2) in the presence of family and friends. More details of the wedding to follow soon.
