Shahid Kapoor has a special message for his ‘Padmaavat’ co-stars Deepika and Ranveer

The wedding, which has kept everyone interested i.e. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s is now done and dusted. What an event it was, wasn’t it? The grand celebrations went on for two days and DeepVeer’s love affair is now blessed.

After a number of Bollywood stars who came forward to wish the couple for their union, it was Deepika and Ranveer’s co-star in the film ‘Padmaavat’, Shahid Kapoor who has offered his congratulations to the newlywed couple. Shahid Kapoor took to micro blogging site Twitter and wrote this message. “Here’s wishing you guys @deepikapadukone @RanveerOfficial a wonderful and happy married life together. Welcome to the club.”

Shahid Kapoor had acted alongside Deepika and Ranveer in ‘Padmaavat’. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali magnum opus faced many controversies and there were also reports of alleged cold war between Shahid and Ranveer. But, Shahid is right when he welcomes the couple to the married club! Shahid has married Mira Rajput and the couple has two beautiful kids.

After the hectic marriage festivities, DeepVeer will now return to India. After returning back home, the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ will be throwing reception parties for guests and friends. There is a big gala planned for Bollywood celebrities as well. The dates reportedly are November 21, 24, 28 and December 1. The parties will be hosted at Bengaluru and Mumbai.

On the work front, Shahid is busy in the shooting of ‘Kabir Singh’, which is a Telugu remake. Ranveer Singh is awaiting his next release ‘Simmba’ alongside Sara Ali Khan.
