EXCLUSIVE: Shahid Kapoor’s tantrums and interference upset ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ team!

Shahid Kapoor just launched the trailer of his next film ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu‘ also starring Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead. The actor, whose last release ‘Padmaavat’ was a gigantic hit at the box office, is riding on its success and has apparently thrown in a lot of tantrums during the promotions for ‘Batti…’.

Yes, the marketing team of the film’s production house is having a tough time dealing with Shahid.

Apparently, the actor is interfering in all the marketing meetings and disrupting the calls taken by the team. While for instance, the posters released had to be approved by Shahid and he kept dilly-dallying because he didn’t think the posters were upto the mark. Not only that, he even decided what they will be doing at the trailer launch and threw a fit when things didn’t go according to his calls.

Because the movie posters weren’t making noise prior to the trailer launch, he blamed the banner for screwing it up.

The marketing team has actually given up on Shahid and this is not even the beginning of the film’s promotions. We wonder what’s going to happen as we move forward.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T Series, the film featuring Shahid, Shraddha, and Yami Gautam will release on September 21. Earlier the film was supposed to the hit the silver screens on August 31, but due to the film clashing with Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Stree’, the makers decided to delay the release.
