Shahid Kapoor to team with Rohit Shetty for his next?

Rohit Shetty is very happy with the response of his latest film ‘Dilwale.’ The director whose aim is to provide pure entertainment, started his journey as an Assistant Director, with Ajay Devgn’s debut film ‘Phool Aur Kaante.’ This association became very successful when Rohit Shetty turned a director giving eight successful films back-to-back with Ajay Devgn. With ‘Chennai Express,’ Rohit Shetty came up to work with another actor none other than Shah Rukh Khan. ‘Dilwale’ continued this association with ‘Baadshah.’ But Rohit Shetty is ready to apply a change yet again with the casting of his lead other than Ajay and SRK. Apparently, the ‘Dilwale’ director is planning to make a film with Shahid Kapoor. Sources say that Shahid has been meeting Rohit since last couple of weeks. Shahid Kapoor is very keen to work with the director. Shahid has earlier worked with director Prabhudeva, performing some raw action in his film ‘R… Rajkumar.’ So it would be damn interesting to watch him performing the car stunts designed by Shetty.

The duo is searching for the right script to be locked for their next.

Shahid Kapoor is currently busy with the shooting of his next film ‘Rangoon’ directed by Vishal Bharadwaj. The film is tentatively slated to release on October 14, 2016.
