Shahid Kapoor and Ali Abbas Zafar are collaborating for an action thriller. This is the first time that the Kabir Singh star is collaborating with the Sultan director. Here is some good news for Shahid Kapoor fans, the actor has wrapped up the shoot of the thriller. Ali Abbas Zafar took to Instagram and announced the film wrap sharing a picture of a police car flying.

The ‘Sultan’ director captioned the post as, “Action has always been one of my Favourite genres and the thrill of making action movies onset is even a greater experience. Film Wrap, Thank you @shahidkapoor and the entire team for making these last 6 months super fun“.

Though the makers haven’t officially titled the film, it is apparently named ‘Bloody Daddy’. The movie is said to be the Hindi remake of the 2011 French film, Nuit Blanche. In the film, Shahid will reportedly be playing the role of a cop who is chasing drug lords across the city. The French film is apparently being remade in Tamil and Telugu as Thoongaa Vanam and Cheekati Rajyam respectively too.

The film is produced by Ali Abbas Zafar and Himanshu Mehra of Offside Entertainment along with Sunir Kheterpal’s Anthena Entertainment and Gaurav Bose’s The Vermilion World Productions. Jio Studios presents in association with AAZ Films, Offside Entertainment, and The Vermilion World Productions.

The movie will hit the theatres later this year.
