Shahid Kapoor’s mother says Mira Rajput is sweet and affectionate

Bollywood’s most eligible bachelor heartthrob Shahid Kapoor, is just days away from tying the knot with Delhi girl Mira Rajput. The grooms mother Neelima Azim, has been singing paeans of her daughter-in-law to be. Former actress Neelima is quite happy for her son Shahid finally tying the knot and settling down in holy matrimony.

Neelima Azim said: “I am extremely happy for Shahid. As a mother, I support and bless him. Shahid has been busy with his work and leading a bachelor’s life. It is exciting to see him finally settle down. I wish him and Mira a wonderful life together.”

Neelima futher added that, there have been rumours of the marriage being fixed by Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapoor, but it is Shahid’s decision to marry Mira. He knows what he is doing and we all are very involved. I met Mira in Mumbai and again in Delhi. She is sweet and extremely affectionate. It was pleasant meeting her whole family.”

Apparently Shahid Kapoor was recently in the capital for his roka ceremony where he is reported to have gifted Mira a solitaire ring worth Rs. 23 lakh. The couple are all set to tie the knot on June 10 in Greece this year.
