Shahid Kapoor’s mysterious tweet promises something special for his fans

Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for the release of his Noir drama ‘Udta Punjab’. The Abhishek Chaubey directorial has the talented actor depicting the role of a cocaine snorting rockstar Tommy Singh. The movie has been making right noises ever since the first look of the actors have been unveiled by the makers.

The trailer too went on to be the most watched on the social network within a few hours of its release. On April 29th, a new intriguing poster was unveiled that had the lead actors in their ‘Udta Punjab’ look. Now the ‘Haider’ actor has tweeted a video that promises something special for his fans in three days.

‘Udta Punjab’ will bring forth the rising problem of drug consumption among the youth of Punjab. Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, it has Shahid Kapoor depicting the role of a Rockstar addicted to drugs, Alia Bhatt a Bihari migrant, Kareena Kapoor Khan as a doctor and Punjabi film sensation Diljit Dosanjh as a cop. The movie will be releasing on June 17, 2016.
