Shahid Kapoor- Kiara Advani to feature in THIS hit Prabhudheva song

Yo Yo Honey Singh who has delivered hits like ‘Blue Eyes’, ‘High Heels’, is back to the grind, and ready to impress with a recreated version of Prabhudheva- Nagma’s song ‘Urvashi’ from 1994 hit Tamil film ‘Kadhalan’. And the cherry top is that hunk Shahid Kapoor and ‘Lust Stories’ actress Kiara Advani, will feature in the music video by Singh.

Confirming the same, Kiara told PinkVilla, “I know the pressure one goes through when a classic song is recreated. There will be comparisons. This could be my ode to Prabhu sir, I am his huge fan.” When asked how she felt working with the ‘Udta Punjab’ actor, she added “We all know Shahid is a great dancer, I was nervous about matching up to his skills, but he was super fun to work with. We were in sync from the word go.”

Moving on, when Sanjay Shetty, the choreographer of the version, was asked to say a word or two about the same, he said, “We’ve changed the lyrics, but the hook line remains the same. The song, however, doesn’t showcase a love story but a new-age relationship between Shahid and Kiara. Even the choreography is contemporary. We are shooting on a club set in Film City. We also filmed in a parking lot on Sunday to give the video an underground kind of a feel.” He added that Shahid is super excited and looks like a rockstar and called Kiara a fab dancer.

The new version of ‘Urvashi’ is backed by Bhushan Kumar’s, T Series.
