Bollywood superstar Shahid Kapoor and his lovely wife Mira Rajput Kapoor are all set to welcome their second child and the couple will soon be shifting to a new home. Yes, Shahid has bought a duplex in upscale Worli for Rs 55.60 crore. He has also paid Rs 2.91 crore as stamp duty to the government for its registration.
As per reports, the flat is located on the 42nd-43rd floors of Tower B of Three Sixty West, and the portions of the two floors measure 427.98 square meters and 300.48 sqm, including a balcony spanning 40.88 sqm. The total area adds up to 801.30 sqm or 8,625 sq ft. Along with the flat, the ‘Padmaavat’ actor gets six car parking spots in the building.
The reports further states, the flat has been registered in the names of Shahid Pankaj Kapoor and his wife, Mira Shahid Kapoor.
Shahid and Mira are currently reside at Praneta Building at Juhu Tara Road, but due to the growing prostitution problems, the couple were on a lookout to shift residence as soon as possible. They finally found their dream home in Worli.
Besides the Kapoors, two other Bollywood stars have also brought a houses in the same building. Akshay Kumar had paid Rs 27.94 crores to buy a flat and Abhishek Bachchan had purchased the flat for Rs 41.14 crore in November 2014.
On the work front, Shahid Kapoor has wrapped the shoot of his next ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’. The Shree Narayan Singh movie also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles.
