Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira reveals who will name their second child

Shahid Kapoor and his lovely wife Mira Rajput who walked down the aisle on July 7, 2015, have never failed to make their fans fall in love with them. The very much in love couple are parents to an adorable one-year-old baby girl, Misha Kapoor who was born on August 26, 2016. Misha incidentally is an amalgamation of the names of Mira and Shahid. And, now the lovely couple is all set to embrace parenthood once again.

Shahid and Mira shared the good news with their fans on their Instagram handle by sharing a photo of Misha Kapoor with ‘Big sister’ written with chalk around balloons.

Recently in an interview to Zoom TV, Mira opened up on how she plans to bring up her two children and also who will name their second baby.

Mira said, “We haven’t decided the name of the baby yet. In fact, we are open to all suggestions. Misha’s name was Shahid’s selection. So, this time, I might get to select the name.”

“This time I already have a toddler around and keeping a balance between the one you have and the one that’s on its way is very important. Everything changes and you don’t want that the one who has been the apple of your eyes for so long and feels that she’s the center of your world to feel neglected and ignored. That is very important,” she added.

A source close to the couple had earlier told India.com that the parents have two names in mind, one for a baby boy and the other one for a baby girl and just like Misha, the names they have chosen also start with M.

It is also reported that Shahid Kapoor, who is busy with the post-production of ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ and the prep of ‘Arjun Reddy’ remake has chalked out his work schedule in a manner that will allow him paternity leave in September.
