Shahid reveals what he likes the most about his ‘Padmavati’ character

A few days back, Shahid Kapoor’s look as Raja Ratan Ravan Singh from ‘Padmavati’ came out. Since then, we’ve been in awe. The actor not only looked intriguing, but his appearance also radiated immense bravery.

Shahid himself thoroughly enjoyed working in the film. A fan on Twitter asked him what’s the one thing that he liked about his own character. he answered, “Courageous fearless. Respectful to women.”

He also went on to state that his experience of working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali has “been a pleasure and a privilege”.

‘Padmavati’ also stars Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji and Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati. The film revolves around the legendary conflict between the two kings, and the supreme sacrifice made by the Goddess queen, which led her to attain the status.

A couple of months back, the team witnessed destructive vandalism on the sets at Jaipur while filming. The activities were carried out by Rajput Karni Sena, a Rajput organisation who accused Bhansali of maligning historical facts.

The film is set to release in November this year.
