Shahid will leave you stumped in these ‘Padmavati’ posters

Last the makers of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum-opus ‘Padmavati’ had released the posters of Queen Padmavati aka Deepika Padukone and we were left speechless. The posters impressed one and all with kind words pouring in from all corners. Now the makers of this period drama have treated us with the first look of Maharawal Ratan Singh aka Shahid Kapoor.

Shahid took to Twitter to share two posters, one that sees him as the King with his fort in the backdrop while the other one is that of A warrior fighting in a war. Maharawal Ratan Singh fought with Alauddin Khilji, who wanted to conquer over his wife Queen Padmavati. The intense gaze that Shahid beholds in these posters will surely leave you stumped.

We also love how the makers have emphasied on the minute details of the character and the way he looks. The mane, the moustache and beard, the tilak and the surma in his eyes, all these things add up to the magnificence of Maharawal Ratan Singh.

We now await the posters featuring Alauddin Khilji aka Ranveer Singh.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, ‘Padmavati’ is slated to release on December 1. It was earlier supposed to release on November 17 but then the makers had to push the release date owing to delay in shooting.
