Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan seems to have recovered from the number of injuries he has sustained during the shoot of his movie ‘Happy New Year’. The actor had sustained severe injuries on his right shoulder and left kneecap. Now Shah Rukh Khan seems to have completely recovered. He has been working out for a month now to put on some bulk before he films some high-octane action sequences for the film.
As per sources, “Shah Rukh Khan was advised by his doctor to avoid exercising for a couple of months as it could worsen his injury. At that time, he knew that the shooting schedule of the action scenes is months away and he could start preparing for it once his injuries healed.”
Sources further added that, no sooner did Shah Rukh Khan recuperated, he rang his trainer Prashant Sawant and began the process of bulking up, along with some functional training to enhance joint mobility. “Since last month, he is training not once but twice a day at Mannat. He is doing functional training, which is a mix of cardio and weights. One session lasts for about 90 minutes and the intensity increases every week. His diet has been altered to suit the workout.”
When contacted, SRK’s trainer Prashant Sawant confirmed, “Yes, we began the preparation a couple of months ago and he is completely fit today.”
