Shahrukh Khan was not able to reach on time at the venue of the Indian Cinema at NDTV’s Solutions Summit and the culprit to blame was none other than Delhi’s Traffic. The moment he reached the discussions were already going on, but the Badshah bowed to the audience and his co-panelists, apologised and said: “I think globalisation of Indian cinema should start with actors coming on time.Hum toh common man hain lal batti use nahi karsakte ” his apology was accepted amidst clapping and cheering.
As per sources Shahrukh was late and it was the Delhi traffic the reason behind his delay. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan who wanted to wait for SRK, had to start the discussion without him. But the moment he entered Amitji said, “Our main speaker is here. I think he should be asked all these questions.” Amitabh Bachchan, Waheeda Rehman, AR Rahman and Shah Rukh Khan were later engaged in an intense discussion on what keeps their industry from competing globally.
In the end Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Waheeda Rehman danced to the tune of A R Rehman’s ‘Jai Ho’.
