Shah Rukh Khan – Kajol set to make a comeback in DDLJ remake?

They are back once again to woo their fans. Yes we are talking about the hit jodi of ‘Simran’ and ‘Raj’. If rumours are to be believed then Shahrukh Khan and Kajol are set to reunite for the remake of YRF”s iconic movie ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’.

According to sources, Aditya Chopra is planning to adapt the story to a contemporary setting and rope in new actors to play the lead roles of Raj and Simran, the two lovers who fall in love while on a train journey but face opposition from the girl’s father.

The remake is said to be titled ‘Dulhaniya Chali Dilwale Ke Saath’.  TV actor Farhan Khan will play the character of Raj. A new girl Mahika Sharma is said to be under consideration to play Simran.

Shahrukh Khan and Kajol will make cameo appearances in the film. Boman Irani and Paresh Rawal are being considered to play the roles enacted by Anupam Kher and Amrish Puri respectively in the original.

Well if does happen, will it re-create the Magic of DDLJ?
