Why Did Shahrukh Khan ignore Akshay Kumar?

Superstar Shahrukh Khan was quite nostalgic on ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ completing 16 years. He feels that the movie is an eternal evergreen love story.

The movie that was released around 1997 was a musical  love triangle with SRK, Madhuri and Karisma Kapoor in the leading roles. Directed by Yash Chopra. With a cameo played by Akshay Kumar.

SRK tweeted, “As time passes, 16 yrs to be exact..the memories come rushing back…making DTPH (Dil To Pagal Hai) seem aur paas…aur paas (making DTPH seem close). Thanks Madhuri, Karisma, Yashji and team.” But what is this? SRK has not mentioned Akshay Kumar while Thanking all his co-stars of the movie. Does this mean that the cold war between the two rivals is very much out in the open now.

The superstar will be celebrating his 48th birthday on Saturday and has planned a sit down gathering of the media at his palatial home ‘Mannat’ in Bandra. “I feel very weird when people celebrate my birthday with great enthusiasm every year. So, you all (reporters) are invited. Come to my home. We will sit down, have cold drinks and chat and all.”
At present he is busy shooting for ‘Happy New Year’.
