Shah Rukh Khan wants to direct films

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan usually shies away from committing to a role behind the camera. But at a recent event in London for Zee TVs new channel ‘& TV’, the Badshah has confessed to his ambition of directing a film soon. Shah Rukh Khan whose show India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun? will soon be holding a finale with many a celebrity in attendance. The actor was all praise for television as a great medium for storytelling.

Shah Rukh Khan said, “As a filmmaker and producer who would one day like to direct films, I think television is a great medium and an amazing platform. As someone who started on TV with Fauji, TV remains my first love. I think it would be the nicest step up for me to come back and tell stories on TV. That is the future.”

&Tv, is the new general entertainment channel of Zee television. It will hit the airwaves in the UK as a free-to-air channel from April 6 before making its debut in Africa and the US.
