Here’s the actual reason why Shamita Shetty was rude to a fan asking for a selfie

 Shamita Shetty who has been missing from the big screen since a long time is again in news these days. The ‘Zeher’ actress was recently trolled for being rude to a fan who requested to take a selfie with her. A video that showcases the entire episode was captured by the shutterbugs and it has gone viral on the social media.

The ‘Mohabbatein’ actress drew flak from the netizens for being rude to the fan. Check out the video here:

The diva was trolled for her behaviour by netizens who even went on to call her obnoxious and arrogant. However, it looks like there’s another side to this video. A source close to the actress revealed, “Shamita is suffering from slip disc in her neck and was in excruciating pain when one of her fans approached her to click a photograph with her. In spite of being unwell, the actress happily obliged to her fan’s request but it came across as a little rude and was purely unintentional. Shamita loves her fans and respects their love and admiration and have always been very polite with them.”

Shamita who is Shilpa Shetty’s younger sister is at present busy with her South Indian film and web series. She has also bagged an International film that is being directed by Sushrut Jain which is titled ‘The Tenant’.
