Veteran theatre actor Arvind Joshi left for his heavenly abode earlier today. He was not only one of the veterans in the theatre and stage but was also the father to two stellar actors – Sharman Joshi and Manasi Joshi. He breathed his last at the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. The news of his death was broken to the world by Arvind’s good friend and theater colleague Paresh Rawal.
Paresh Rawal took to Twitter to share the news where he wrote, “Irreparable loss to Indian theatre; with grief we say goodbye to the noted actor Shri Arvind Joshi. A stalwart, a versatile actor, an accomplished thespian, are the words that come to mind when I think of his performances. My condolences to @TheShermanJoshi & family.AUM SHANTI (sic).” Have a look at his tweet here:

Arvind Joshi has also worked in popular B-town films such as Sholay and Ittefaq, and Apmaan Ki Aag. He is now survived by his wife and two children – Sharman and Manasi. While Sharman is married to Prem Chopra’s daughter Prerana, Manasi is married to Rohit Roy.
