EXCLUSIVE: Sharman Joshi has an unexpected reaction to NOT being a part of Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino

Anurag Basu directorial Life in a… Metro was released in 2007. Life in a… Metro starred Sharman Joshi, Irrfan Khan, Kay Kay Menon, Shiney Ahuja, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Shilpa Shetty. In December last year, Anurag Basu announced Metro In Dino, a sequel to Life in a… Metro. The upcoming project stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles. Sharman Joshi is not a part of Metro In Dino. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Sharman opened up about not being a part of the upcoming film.

Here’s what Sharman Joshi said about not being a part of Metro In Dino

“Life in a… Metro Anurag has thrown us out of. Basu ne toh nahi cast kia na hum logon ko. Theek hai. Doesn’t matter it’s his loss. He’ll realise bohot jald ek saal mein release karega (Anurag Basu didn’t cast me in it. It’s okay. He will realise very soon when he releases the film in one year)”

Adding to that, Sharman said, “Mazak kar raha hu bhai maaf karo (I am joking, forgive me).”

In December, Sara took to her Instagram and shared a pic with Aditya Roy Kapur and the team of Metro.. In Dino. The actress wrote in the caption, “Super excited and grateful to be part of #MetroInDino Shoot begins soon!!!”

Coming back to Sharman, he also spoke about his hopes for being a part of Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 5. The actor said, “Golmaal I’m hoping to be a part of. Golmaal 5 will happen and I’m hoping I can be a part of it.”

On the other hand, Sharman recently delivered a terrific performance in Music School, directed by Paparao Biyyala. Apart from Sharman, Music School also starred Shriya Saran. The film received good response from the audience.
