Sharman Joshi is one of the most loved actors in Bollywood. He is popularly known for his roles in films like Rang De Basanti, Golmaal, Dhol, and 3 Idiots. Talking about 3 Idiots, in particular, Sharman played the role of Raju Rastogi in the superhit film and his performance is remembered to date. After 3 Idiots, Sharman went on to feature in many projects. However, it didn’t create as much buzz as his previous works.
Recently, at the trailer launch of his upcoming film Music School, Sharman was asked about not being seen much on the big screen after his superhit film 3 Idiots. The actor gave a perfect answer to the question.
Here’s what Sharman Joshi said…
“Aisi koi baat nahi hai (It’s not like that). I’ve been doing various kinds of work. Some are not so popular and some popular. Toh kya hota hai ki jab cheez chalti nahi hai aap pe dhyaan nahi rehta hai. Kaam toh hoye jaa raha hai aur kaam karte rahenge (So, what happens is when things don’t work, you don’t pay attention to it. Work is going on and I will continue to work)”
He added, “God has been very kind, very interesting work coming my way and I’m really enjoying every piece of work that I get. Jaha tak 3 Idiots ki baat hai agar aap usse compare karoge toh matlab… Sholay se koi film compare ho sakti hai? Nahi ho sakti hai. Woh aise baat hai (When it comes to 3 Idiots, if you compare it with that then I mean… Can any film be compared to Sholay? No, right? It’s like that)”
Fans flooded the comments section with heart emojis.
Talking about ‘Music School’, Sharman will be seen as a dance teacher. On Tuesday, Sharman treated fans to the trailer of his upcoming film. The actor wrote in the caption, “Experience the enchanting world of music through an inspiring story of #MusicSchool #MusicSchoolMovie in cinemas from May 12 in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.”
