Sharvari Wagh is currently shooting for Nikkhil Advani's Vedaa in Jodhpur. Elated to work with him, the actress reveals which film of Nikkhil is her favourite and she can watch on loop.

Sharvari Wagh is one of the most promising newcomers in Bollywood. She made her debut with Bunty Aur Babli 2 which earned her the Award for Best Female Debut. The actress is currently shooting for Vedaa in Jodhpur alongside John Abraham. The film went on-floors earlier this month and Sharvari Wagh plays the titular role of Vedaa in this gripping action film helmed by Nikkhil Advani.

Sharvari Wagh reveals her favourite Nikkhil Advani directorial

Interestingly, Sharvari has admired Nikkhil’s work and is elated to collaborate with him. She is a huge fan especially of his directorial debut – Kal Ho Naa Ho.

Talking about what makes Kal Ho Naa Ho her favourite, Sharvari in a statement said, “I feel honoured and privileged to be working with Nikkhil sir. His filmography is a perfect blend of different genres. I have always admired his work. Kal Ho Naa Ho is my absolute favourite and I think I have watched it more than 20 times. In fact, in my growing up years, I remember learning the hook steps of KHNH songs and then showing it off at parties. I do it even now.”

Sharvari further added, adds, “And not just the music, but even the dialogues of the movie have stayed with me. Salaam-e-Ishq, Patiala House, D-Day and Batla House are some of the other films of Nikkhil sir that are also my favourites. So to be directed by him in Vedaa is overwhelming and everyday is a learning curve with him. As a newcomer I want to absorb as much knowledge as I can from him.”

Apart from Vedaa, the actress has Siddharth P Malhotra’s directorial Maharaja. The film will also mark the Aamir Khan’s son Junaid’s Bollywood debut. As per recent reports, she will also be a part of YRF’s spy universe. However, an official confirmation regarding it is yet to come.
