Director Shashank Khaitan turns rapper, see what Ranveer Singh has to say about it

‘Dhadak’ fame director Shashank Khaitan recently posted a video on his Instagram handle where he is rapping a piece from famous Birju rap originally rapped by Naezy. In the video, the director has performed the rap on his own and it is inspired by Ranveer Singh‘s upcoming movie ‘Gully Boy’. The video has gone viral and we are surprised to see Shashank rapping.

He captioned the post asking Ranveer as to what he thinks about the rap.  When Ranveer come across this post, he immediately replied to Shashank Khaitan by saying, “BANTAAAAAAI”. Before having a look at Ranveer’s comment, have a look at the videos by Shashank.

‘Gully Boy’s song, ‘Apna Time Aayega’ has already taken the internet by storm and it has got appreciation from all quarters. The movie is inspired by slum rappers of Dharavi. Ranveer is playing the role of a street rapper and Alia Bhatt is playing his love interest. This is Alia’s first outing with Excel Entertainment and Zoya Akhtar will be seen in a never seen before avatar in the movie.

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, ‘Gully Boy’ is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment in association with Tiger Baby. It is all set to hit the screens on 14th February 2019.
