#ShashiWasThere: Anushka Sharma knew about the Oscar ‘Best Film’ blunder beforehand

Do you know Anushka Sharma has turned into a ghost and she roams around here and there? Well, she might also be behind you while you are reading this article. Okay, so before you get horrified by reading the first two lines, let us tell you that Anushka plays a ghost in her upcoming flick ‘Phillauri’, and the makers have come up with a very innovative idea to promote the film.

They have come up with a campaign titled ‘#ShashiWasThere’ in which they are inserting Anushka aka Shashi in different pictures. Well, they have included Anushka on the stage of Oscars when the goof up about the Best Film happened. And yes, Shashi claims that she knew about the goof up. Anushka on Twitter posted the picture, and wrote, “Yeh log mujhe sun nahin paye, main toh kab se Hindi mein keh rahi thi ki naam galat likha hai #ShashiWasThere.”

Well, this picture has gone viral and we are sure it will do wonders for the film.

‘Phillauri’ also stars Diljit Dosanjh, ‘Life Of Pi’ fame Suraj Sharma and Mehreen Pirzada, and will hit the screens on March 24, 2017.
