Shatrughan Sinha slams Mukesh Khanna ; says, “Who has appointed him as the guardian of the Hindu religion?”

Ever since the news of ‘Shaktimaan’ returning to television broke, Mukesh Khanna has been grabbing headlines for his fearless opinions about other shows. The veteran actor was seen slamming Ekta Kapoor for her modern version of ‘Mahabharat’ and he also took a dig at Sonakshi Sinha for not having any knowledge about ‘Ramayan’.

Mukesh Khanna had slammed Sonakshi Sinha as she failed to answer a question related to Ramayan on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. He had told The Times of India, “I think the reruns will be useful to many who haven’t watched the show earlier. It will also help people like Sonakshi Sinha who have no knowledge about our mythological sagas. People like her don’t know who did lord Hanuman get Sanjivani for.”

Now Sonakshi’s father, Shatrughan Sinha slammed Mukesh. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Sinha said, “I believe someone has problem with Sonakshi for not answering a question on the Ramayan. Firstly what qualifies this person to be an expert on all things to do with the Ramayan? And who has appointed him the guardian of the Hindu religion.” 

The actress’ father added that not answering a question on Ramayan does not prove that she is not a good Hindu. He also went on to say that his daughter does not need a certificate of approval from anyone.
