Shatrughan Sinha hospitalised after suffering pain in the rib region- Reports

Actor Sonakshi Sinha’s father Shatrughan Sinha was hospitalised a few days back but the reason was unknown. Now, it has been revealed that Sinha was rushed to the hospital after he experienced some pain in the rib region. According to the reports in Etimes, the Kaala Pathar actor tripped in his dining room and hurt his rib region. He hit the corner of the carpet when he was trying to get up from the sofa. Fortunately, his daughter Sonakshi Sinha was nearby who immediately helped him from a serious fall.

Here’s why Shatrughan Sinha was hospitalised

A source told the portal, “You will find Shatru most of the time on the same sofa at the same spot. He loves to sit there and see the news on TV. Most of his interviews too are conducted there only”. Reportedly, the actor immediately called for medical attention and has been advised to rest at home. However, he experienced some pain in the rib region the next morning; due to this, he was hospitalised immediately and took all the necessary tests to rule out any internal injury. However, no injuries were found and he is likely to be discharged tomorrow.

Shatrughan’s best friend Pahlaj Nihalani visited him and told the portal, “Yes, Shatruji is in hospital. But he is absolutely fine now. He should be back home by tomorrow evening.“

Some days back, Sonakshi was seen visiting the hospital a few days after her wedding with Zaheer Iqbal. While it was speculated that she must be expecting her first child, reports suggest that she visited the hospital to meet her father. Nevertheless, Sinha is currently stable and is under observation.

During a recent interview with Times Now, Sinha said, “Anand Bakshi Saab has written about such professional protesters Kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna. To this, I would like to add, Kehna wale agar bekaar bina kaam-kaaj ke hon toh kehn hi kaam ban jata hai. My daughter has done nothing illegal or unconstitutional. A marriage is a very personal decision between two people. No one has the right to interfere or comment. To all the protestors I say, ‘Go get a life. Do something useful with your life.’ Bas, aur kuch nahin kehna.”

Sonakshi and Zaheer Iqbal got married on June 23, 2024, in the presence of close friends and family.
