Shatrughan Sinha on daughter Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding: She has the right to choose her companion

Actor Sonakshi Sinha is getting married to beau Zaheer Iqbal on 23rd June. The couple’s wedding invitation got leaked on Thursday morning according to which Sonakshi and Zaheer will have an intimate wedding followed by a celebration in Bastian Mumbai. While the family was mum over the wedding till now, finally Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha has spoken over the nuptials.

He said, “She will always have my blessings. Sonakshi is the apple of my eye. She is my only daughter and very close to me. I am a proud father because, over the years, she has also grown as an actor. From Lootere to Dahaad to now Heeramandi, she has proved to be a fantastic actor.” The Kaali Charan actor also added, “If my daughter is getting married, I will support her decision and choice. Sonakshi has the right to choose her companion, and I will be the happiest father on her wedding day. I will always wish her the best… ek hi toh beti hai meri.“

As per the invite, it will be a simple and intimate celebration. The dress code is anything formal and festive but not in red.

Poonam Dhillon confirms Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding

Talking to Instant Bollywood, Poonam said, “I wish Sonakshi all the very best. She has sent a lovely invitation. I have known her since she was a little girl. I have seen her entire journey, I pray to God she stays happy. She is a lovely warm very loving girl. So I wish her all the joy and happiness.” Poonam then looked at the camera and shared with a smile, “Please keep her happy, Zaheer. She is a lovely girl. She is precious for all of us.”
