Shehnaaz Gill has been the talk of the town ever since she made her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Now, the actress was seen in the recently released movie Thank You For Coming. The actress shared the screen with Bhumi Pednekar, Shibani Bedi, Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh, and more in the Karan Boolani-directed film. As she was basking in the success of the film, Shehnaaz Gill fell ill and had to be hospitalized.

Shenaaz Gill gets hospitalized

Shehnaaz Gill was promoting the recently released chick flick Thank You For Coming along with her girl squad. Probably when she was out, she might have consumed a sandwich, as she said in a video and that sandwich upset her stomach. Post this, the Thank You For Coming actress fell ill and had to be admitted to the hospital for a stomach infection. The actress had updated her fans and followers by going live on Instagram.

Shehnaaz Gill’s video has been making rounds on the internet, in which she is seen in a hospital bed. In the video, the actress said, “Dekho time sabka aata hai, sabka jata hai. Mere saath bhi vahi hua hai. Fir aaega thode din baad. Guys, I’m fine now. Mai theek nhi thi. Mujhey infection hogaya tha. Maine na sandwich kha liya tha. Infection hui hai mujhey food infection.”

Thank You For Coming producer Rhea Kapoor was spotted as she came to visit Shehnaaz at the hospital.

Anil Kapoor calls Shehnaaz Gill ‘next Mumtaz’

Ace actor Anil Kapoor had also joined the live session and had commented, “Namastey, Shehnaaz Jii. You are like Mumtaz, the next Mumtaz. Sab dekh rahe hai appreciate kar rahe hai.”

Shehnaaz Gill, Bhumi Pednekar, Shibani Bedi and the girl gang starrer Thank You For Coming is being well received by the audience. The film is directed by Karan Boolani and is running successfully in cinemas. Within three days of its release, Thank You For Coming has minted Rs.4.42 crores at the box office.
