Shehnaaz Gill became a household name after she appeared on the reality show Bigg Boss 13. The singer-actress ended up as the second runner up that season but her popularity just kept on growing. This Friday, she made her Bollywood acting debut with the Salman Khan-led Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
While there is a lot of love that comes the way of Shehnaaz Gill, she also faces a lot of trolling online. People have pointed out her behaviour towards the paparazzi to be ‘rude’ and ‘arrogant’ at times. Recently, during an interview with Mirchi Plus, the actress opened up on the same.
Shehnaaz Gill reacts to being called rude and arrogant…
Speaking her mind, Shehnaaz said, “Unka (paps) mood 24 ghante hota, par kabhi kabhi tumhara mood nahi karta. Toh agar kabhi hum smile nahi karte to log bohot baatein banane lag jaate hai. ‘She is rude, usme akad aa gayi hai,’ par aisa kuch nahi hota bhai. (They are always in the mood to click some photos, but sometimes you just don’t feel like it. And when you don’t smile, people assume you are rude or now have become arrogant, but that is not the case).”
She went on to add, “Logon ko hamesha lagta hai ki shayad wo hamesha khush hi rehti hogi. But aisa nahi hota, sabke mood swings hote hai life mein. Hamesha koi hass nahi sakta, hamesha koi peace me bhi nahi reh sakta. Gussa bhi aata hai, mujhe toh bohot aata hai . (People presume that I must always be happy but everyone has mood swings and I am no different. No one can smile all the time, nor can they be at peace at all moments. People can get angry, and I also get angry at times). So I respect that.”
