Shekhar Ravjiani on acting: For me content matters, not screen time

Singer and music composer Shekhar Ravjiani, who made his acting debut in Sonam Kapoor-starrer ‘Neerja’, says that he is now open to full-fledged roles, if the script is strong.

“I did an extended cameo in Neerja. I am open to more roles. For me content matters, not screen time,” said Shekhar.

The composer is currently judging a new singing reality show ‘Dil Hai Hindustani’, along with singers Shalmali Kholgade, Badshah and director Karan Johar. Speaking of the other judges and who is the craziest of all, Shekhar claims, “It was Shalmali – both on and off-camera. She has mad energy. On the other hand, Karan was the wittiest. He just cracked me up almost every time he said something. And Badshah has a completely different vibe, which I really liked.”

Shekhar and musician partner Vishal Dadlani will next be giving their music in ‘Student of the Year 2’.
