After Rahul Bose, now music composer-singer Shekhar Ravjianii had to pay an exorbitant price for ordering three boiled eggs in a hotel in Ahmedabad. He was charged Rs. 1672.66. Yes, you heard it right. Shekhar took to his Twitter handle to share his experience.
It was during his stay in the Hyatt Regency hotel in Ahmedabad. Shekhar was actually charged Rs. 1350 for the three boiled eggs. The rest he had to pay Rs. 67.50 for service charge of 5% and Rs. 127.58 x 2 for 9% CGST and SGST. So, the total amount was Rs. 1672.66.
Sharing the receipt of his order, Shekhar wrote, “Rs. 1672 for 3 egg whites???

Earlier, filmmaker-actor Rahul Bose faced a similar situation when he ordered two bananas after his gym session at the five-star hotel. He was charged Rs. 422.50 for just a couple of bananas at JW Marriott Hotel, Chandigarh. Later, the hotel was slapped with Rs. 25k fine.
