Sherlyn Chopra is a mother? Actress sparks adoption rumours as she poses with a baby & calls her ‘a blessing’

Sherlyn Chopra was recently spotted in the city, holding an adorable baby in her arms as she made her way to a fancy restaurant. This sighting has led to speculation that the actress may have legally adopted the child and is embracing motherhood. While details about the baby and her name remain undisclosed, Sherlyn appeared unfazed when paparazzi affectionately referred to her as “mummy.”

Sherlyn took to her Instagram to share photos with the baby. She wrote, “A blessing that no one can replace…” In videos captured by the paparazzi, Sherlyn is seen lovingly holding the baby. She was seen playfully struggling to free her hair from the little one’s grasp.

A photographer is heard humorously saying, “Mummy ka baal chod do… (Let go of mummy’s hair).” In the same video, Sherlyn expresses her joy. “Acha decision liya na bachcha god lekar? Baby kuch maheene pehle hi paida hui hai.” She kisses the baby on the cheeks. “Mera sapna sakaar ho gaya” (My dream has come true).

Sherlyn on motherhood

Last year, Sherlyn revealed that she could not become a mother due to an autoimmune disorder. It is known as Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), which she has been battling since 2021 and has resulted in kidney failure. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, she shared that her doctor advised her to manage her health condition carefully. She has been warned against the risks of pregnancy, stating it could be life-threatening for both her and the baby.

Despite these challenges, Sherlyn has expressed a strong desire to become a mother. While she acknowledges that natural motherhood may not be an option, she is exploring other avenues. And she hopes to have at least three or four children. She also mentioned that she would like her children’s names to start with the letter A. She has a fondness for names beginning with that letter.

Sherlyn shared her deep yearning for motherhood.“I think I was born to be a mother because whenever I think about children, I feel an indescribable happiness. Even before they arrive, I’m so happy. Just imagine how much joy I’ll feel after they’re here.” She also stated her intention to continue working while raising her children. Mentioned that she would initially hire a nanny to help care for them while she was present.
