Sherni Teaser: Vidya Balan is all set to roar in this edge of the seat jungle adventure

The teaser of Sherni is dropped today (May 31) by Amazon Prime Video. The film stars Vidya Balan as the main lead. Produced by T-Series & Abundantia Entertainment, Sherni is directed by Amit Masurkar. Sherni’s trailer will be out on June 2.

Vidya shared the teaser on her Twitter handle and wrote, “A tigress always knows the way! Ready to hear the #Sherni roar? Here’s the Official Teaser. Trailer out, June 2. Meet #SherniOnPrime, June 2021. @PrimeVideoIN”.

In the teaser, Vidya is seen in a jungle as she is a forest officer and in the voiceover, we heard her saying, “Jungle kitna bhi ghana kyu na hoh, Sherni aapna rasta dhund hi leti hain” (No matter how dense the jungle….the tigress knows her way). The teaser has an intriguing background score and we get a hint from it that Vidya is on a hunt for something.

Earlier in a statement, Vikram Malhotra, the producer, and CEO of Abundantia Entertainment said, “Sherni is one of the most special and important stories that we’ve worked on and Amit’s evocative take on a highly relevant subject, laced with his trademark satire, will make for a compelling watch. I’m also very excited for the fans of Vidya Balan to see her in the unique avatar of a forest officer. Can’t wait for the ‘First Day First Stream’ of ‘Sherni’.”

Apart from Vidya Balan, Sherni also stars Vijay Raaz, Ila Arun, Brijendra Kala, Sharad Saxena, Mukul Chaddha And Neeraj Kabi.
