Shershaah’s Sidharth Malhotra remembers Captain Vikram Batra on his birth anniversary: says ‘You will stay in our hearts forever’

Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra paid a tribute to Captain Vikram Batra on his birth anniversary. On Thursday, Sidharth remembered the Kargil War Hero. He took to his social media handles to pay a fitting tribute to the late Captain Vikram Batra. Sidharth fondly remembered the captain and said he will always stay in everyone’s hearts. Sidharth Malhotra featured in the film titled Shershaah, based on the life story of Captain Vikram Batra, who laid down his life in service of the country.

Sidharth penned a long note on his Twitter. The actor shared a collage and spoke about how Captain Vikram Batra has touched lives. He mentioned how the late Captain has touched lives with valour, wisdom, charm and love for the nation.

He tweeted, “‘Dear Shershaah, They say that those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever. And Captain Vikram Batra, you have touched our lives immensely with you valour, wisdom, charm & love for the nation. You will stay in our hearts forever… In your loving memory, Jai Hind.’ (sic)”

Shershaah producer Karan Johar also made a post. He shared a similar collage, like Sidharth Malhotra, and remembered Captain Vikram Batra on his birth anniversary. 

The film Shershaah featured Sidharth Malhotra playing the role of Captain Vikram Batra, while Kiara Advani essayed the character of Vikram Batra’s sweetheart, Dimple Cheema. The film released on Amazon Prime Video last month. Produced under the banner of Dharma Productions, Shershaah is directed by filmmaker Vishnuvardhan. The film Shershaah received positive reviews from both the audience and critics alike.
